As healthcare professionals we experience situations daily that can affect our mental health including:

The worst thing is, we don't want to admit it because we're afraid of what impact it might have on our role, our reputation, our career. It's not okay for us not to be okay. There's a lot at stake. No wonder we find it so hard to ask for help.

  • I’m a qualified psychotherapist, as well as an experienced pharmacist, with over 25 years experience in community, hospital and primary care pharmacy disciplines.
  • I specialise in providing support to frontline healthcare professionals and conducted research on psychotherapists’ experience of frontline healthcare professional clients.
  • I tailor my approach to each clients’ unique needs, values and strengths.

I offer face-to-face therapy and online therapy and hybrid options to suit shiftwork.

Face-to-Face Therapy in East Meath

I see clients in Four Swans Therapy and Wellness Centre in Duleek, Co. Meath, conveniently located for clients from Meath, Louth and North Dublin with ample free parking.

Online Therapy From Anywhere

Convenient online therapy available anywhere. Often suits healthcare professionals better, especially those of us working shifts.

How Therapy Works

50 Minute Sessions

Both face-to-face and online sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration.

Weekly Sessions

Regular & frequent sessions are shown to deliver the most impactful results. We will typically have weekly sessions together.

What Will We Discuss?

In our first session we will agree on what would be the most impactful for you. We’ll also agree rules and boundaries to ensure that you are comfortable with what you share and explore.

Confidentiality

As you would expect, our sessions and discussions are private and confidential.
